Interview with our CMO Vladimir Tosovic

Vladimir Tosovic is the CMO of Blockpit and CryptoTax. What exactly his tasks are, where his biggest challenges lie and how he envisions Blockpit in five years can be found in the interview below.

What are your tasks as a CMO at Blockpit?

As a part of Blockpit, I get to market software compliance solutions for digital assets on an international level und also position our brands Blockpit ans CryptoTax a leading players in the field of crypto RegTechs.

What makes your profession special to you?

It is an extremely exciting field that I’m working in, there’s always a lot happening and a lot to keep up with. Our task is to link the turbulent world of cryptocurrencies and other digital assets with regulatory requirements and to offer simple, fast and secure solutions.

What are your biggest challenges?

We currently are the leading European provider for crypto-tax solutions and are working on becoming the leading worldwide provider. Each country has different legal requirements, which is why we also offer country-specific solutions , that each carry their own challenges when it comes to product development and marketing.

What did you do before you joined Blockpit?

I was working as an enterprise account manager and relationship manager in the field of B2B sales at LinkedIn for five years until the Bitcoin buzz hit me and I decided to co-found CryptoTax. I’m happy to have joined the Blockpit family in August 2020 as part of the merger of the two companies.

Where do you envision Blockpit in five years?

The current social and economical circumstances with their seemingly endless inflation of reports by central banks and mistrust towards institutions is a perfect basis for Bitcoin and other blockchain-based assets to succeed. This is why I believe that these digital assets will play an important role in the financial system of the future. However, regulatory requirements will remain and even become more complex. Blockpit is perfectly positioned to play a key role by offering software solutions between regulation, taxation and digital assets.
