How Blockpit enables you to study and work

Congratulations!

At the beginning of this blog post we would like to congratulate our Fullstack Developer Wolfgang Eßl and Human Resources Manager Vera Eberdorfer on their master degrees. The two FH Hagenberg graduates are the best proof that it is possible to combine getting a degree and having a career at the same time: Wolfgang and Vera already became valuable members of the Blockpit team during their master’s programs and both successfully completed their degree in October. Wolfgang majored in Interactive Media and Vera in Communication, Knowledge, Media.

Impressions of Wolfgang and Vera

Vera: "Since the attendance requirements at the college varied weekly, it was particularly important for me to find an employer where I could work in a flexible manner. Due to my part-time employment and the availability of flexitime at Blockpit, it was possible to attend all courses and complete my studies in minimum study time. Especially when I was writing my master’s thesis and studying for the master’s examination, the whole team showed a lot of understanding for my stressful situation and celebrated the successful completion together with me afterwards."

Wolfgang: "An understanding for flexible working hours, professional support and an open ear for concerns is something you can only wish for as a part-time master’s student. All this was offered to me at Blockpit. Flexitime and home office opportunities relaxed the often tight schedule during my studies and made it possible to gather practical experience in a reasonable amount of time. Encouragement and motivation by colleagues as well as the shared joy about the successful completion really made a good impression. You can feel that Blockpit’s employees’ personal goals are important."
