Advanced Features
New Tax Optimization Page for Austria and Germany (First Version)
Available exclusively with a Basic license or higher
New features include filtering by asset, tax type when selling, and performance. You can now view detailed cost basis info per asset, including acquisition date and tax type. NFTs are also supported with specific identifiers. The page has a mobile and tablet-optimized design.

New Portfolio Performance KPIs: All-Time Net Fiat Invested + Realized Return
Available exclusively with a Pro or Unlimited license
All-Time Net Fiat Invested: You can now view the difference between total fiat invested and fiat received from sales. This value can be zero (no assets bought) or negative (profits exceed investment).
Realized Return: Completing our Total Performance widget, this KPI shows cumulative gains/losses from all transactions, as listed on the transaction page.
New Insights Tab
Available exclusively with a Pro or Unlimited license
The new Insights Tab provides a comprehensive overview of your portfolio, featuring a holding allocation chart, summaries of gains/losses, staking, fees, and more. It highlights your longest-held assets, newest additions, most active integrations, and top fiat/asset buys. Additional insights include "Best/Worst Performing Asset," "Portfolio All-Time High," and "Highest Transaction Fees."

Onboarding Flow
We've introduced a streamlined onboarding process to guide new users through account setup and initial integrations, improving the overall user experience. While the first import is running, new users will see a welcome card featuring an introductory video that walks them through the app.

Spam Asset Feature
You can now mark any asset in your holdings as Spam, completely hiding it from all sections of Blockpit. This ensures no mismatched balances by removing the marked asset from transactions, asset filters, the NFT tab, and the holdings breakdown in the integration.
Apple ID SSO
We’ve added Apple ID login as a new option for seamless user access. Sign in with Apple protects your privacy by allowing you to sign in to an app without having to provide the developer with information that personally identifies you.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
As the most requested feature on our board, we're excited to announce its release! You can easily activate it in your settings.
Crypto Tax Agent (CTA) (First Version)
Introducing Crypto Tax Agent (CTA) – our new platform for crypto tax advisors and authorities. Advisors can now manage teams, onboard clients, track transaction histories, and set tax deadlines, all within the platform. Clients can be invited or created directly with full account access. Tax authorities can create Blockpit users without email or password.
Future updates will include quick filters and tax statistics.
Tax Reporting
New Report Page (First Version)
The first version of our new report page features a sleek design with improved navigation. It includes report history, detailed tax report configuration options, and provides information about your license and transaction limits.

New Country: United Kingdom (UK)
On Tuesday, October 31, just in time for the UK tax filing period (November to January), we launched our UK tax logic. This update enables country-specific tax reports, supporting consumption methods such as shared pool, same day rule, and bed and breakfasting rule.
New Country: Italy (IT)
Just in time for the September 2024 tax deadline, we launched our new Italy tax module. Key features include the LIFO Valuation Method—our first implementation of this, where the last assets bought are sold first—and Non-Taxable Crypto/Crypto Transactions, which carry forward the cost basis, ensuring gains and losses are only calculated when sold for Euros or NFTs (similar to Austrian tax logic).
Enhanced Tax Report Readability
We've improved the transaction statement by displaying the greyed-out transaction ID of the consumed tranche in the ID column. This makes it easier for users to navigate the tax report, clearly distinguishing between transactions and consumption.
Austrian Tax Logic Update
We've updated the tax logic to align with the latest regulations, ensuring full compliance with the consumption method known as "gleitender Durchschnittspreis" (moving average price).
Correct Merging and Consumption of Collection NFTs
We’ve improved the handling of NFTs within collections.
WISO Steuer CSV File Implementation
German users can now download the WISO CSV in Blockpit, upload it to WISO, and automatically fill in "Private Veräußerungsgeschäfte (§23)" and "Einkünfte nach Leistungen (§22 Nr.3)."
New Label: Token Migration
The new "Token Migration" label is now live, allowing tax-neutral swaps from OLD Asset A to NEW Asset B, transferring all acquisition costs and dates without triggering a taxable event. Currently available in Germany, this feature will expand to other countries after further testing.
NFT Asset IDs
We have also added Asset IDs (Identifier from Helios) to the Tax Report, making it easier to track and identify NFT trades.
Transaction Import
Support for Hardware/Software (Multichain) Wallets and Browser Extensions
Users can now easily import and group multiple blockchain addresses from hardware and software wallets, including Exodus, Ledger, Trezor, and XDEFI. Browser extension wallets like Metamask, Phantom, Coinbase, Trust, and Kelp can also be connected to Blockpit for seamless multi-address imports, with support for over 17 EVM chains on MetaMask.
Convert Manual Integrations to Synced Integrations
Users can now upgrade manual integrations to fully supported synced integrations, ideal for previously unsupported connections.
Manual Sync for Integrations
Users can now manually initiate the sync of their integrations, offering more control and enhancing the user experience.
Moving forward, automatic daily syncing will be available exclusively to Pro and Unlimited license holders.
Sync Missing Transactions Feature
Say goodbye to backwards syncs. You can now delete API-imported transactions and still benefit from API improvements while keeping your manually corrected data intact.

QR Code Scanning for Blockchain Addresses
Navigating on mobile and tablet just got easier—users can now scan their blockchain addresses directly on any device with a camera.

Manual Exchange CSV Import Feature
We’ve successfully integrated every CEX listed on Coingecko into the app. Users can now import their transactions using the Blockpit Excel template, map their assets, and view their exchange data complete with name and icon throughout the app.
Edit Import Start Date for Integrations
Users can now easily adjust the import start date for exchange and blockchain integrations, ensuring their transaction history remains intact. This feature prevents new syncs from altering older transactions, offering greater flexibility and control.

Accointing.com was officially shut down at the end of January 2024. To ensure a smooth transition for Accointing users, we’ve introduced a seamless onboarding process for uploading Accointing transaction history files and migrating to Blockpit.
